ABOUT

The Texas Black Occupational Therapy Caucus (TxBOTC) is a nonprofit organization with a core mission revolving around uplifting and supporting Black individuals in the occupational therapy field. Recognizing the disparities and underrepresentation within the profession, we are driven by a profound commitment to fostering inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and ensuring that the voices of Black therapists are heard and valued. Founded on the principles of connection, education, and empowerment, TxBOTC is more than just an organization; it's a movement dedicated to breaking down barriers and enhancing the representation of Black professionals in occupational therapy.

Our efforts extend beyond professional support, aiming to bridge the access gap to occupational therapy services for diverse and underserved communities. Through collaborative initiatives, educational programs, and advocacy, we work diligently to promote excellence in care for all, champion the well-being of our communities, and inspire a brighter future for aspiring Black therapists. Join us in our mission to make a lasting impact in the occupational therapy field and beyond.
